MVP development

MVP development for startups and founders

An MVP should answer one question: will people use and pay for this? I help founders cut an idea down to the smallest release that answers that question, then build it on a stack that can keep growing if the answer is yes.

Who this is for

  • Non-technical founders who need a technical partner for the first build
  • Founders with designs or a prototype who need a working product
  • Small teams testing a new product line alongside an existing business

Problems this solves

  • The feature list keeps growing and the launch keeps moving
  • You are unsure which features the first version actually needs
  • A no-code prototype proved interest but cannot handle real users
  • You need something investors or early customers can actually use

What is included

  • Scoping session to separate must-haves from later releases
  • User flows for the core journey
  • Full-stack build: accounts, core feature, admin and payments if needed
  • Basic analytics so you can see how people use it
  • Deployment and a launch checklist
  • A prioritised backlog for the next iteration

Technical capabilities

  • Next.js, React and TypeScript
  • PostgreSQL and Prisma
  • Authentication and user management
  • Payment gateway integration
  • LLM and AI API integration
  • React Native when a mobile app is part of the first release

What you receive

  • A live MVP on infrastructure you own
  • Source code and documentation
  • A backlog of next steps based on what was deferred

What affects scope and cost

Every quote is based on a written scope. These are the factors that usually move it the most:

  • How many distinct user types the first release needs
  • Whether payments are required at launch
  • Whether you need web, mobile or both
  • Integrations the core feature depends on
  • How much design work is already done

How to get started

  1. 01Send a short description of your project through the inquiry form — a few sentences is enough.
  2. 02We have a 30-minute video call at a time that suits your time zone.
  3. 03You receive a written scope with milestones and a quote for each.

Questions about mvp development

How is an MVP different from a prototype?

A prototype shows what a product could look like. An MVP is a working product that real users can sign up for and use, built so it can be extended rather than thrown away.

What happens after launch?

We review what users are doing, decide what to build, fix or drop next, and plan the following iteration. Continued development can be scoped as new milestones.

Do I need designs before we start?

No. Designs help, but I can work from wireframes, reference products or a written description and build a clean, usable interface.

Have a project in mind?

Tell me what you are building and where you are stuck. I will come back with questions or next steps — and if I am not the right fit, I will say so.
